WHAT DOES 'BESPOKE' MEAN?

Bespoke means made to order. Because I believe your wedding paper goods should uniquely reflect you as a couple, I start from scratch and design completely custom for you.

WHY DOES PAPER MATTER?

"Don't you know it will just get thrown away?" If you choose invitations that are not a tangible heirloom of your wedding day, not an honest expression of your love story, not unique to you alone - then yes. It will likely get thrown away. But if you invest in custom wedding invitations that bring recipients joy, that are unique to you, that are an undeniable reflection of your big day? Those invitations will hang on refrigerators long after their practical purpose has passed. Years from now, your loved ones will want every tangible reminder possible of your sacred vows. These details are the little things that make a big impact; they're the things that will be passed down and cherished for generations to come. They're also the very first impression of your wedding day, so make them count!

HOW LONG DOES THE PROCESS TAKE?

The invitation design process generally takes between 2-3 months, depending on number of revisions, complexity of design, and print method. If you are in a rush, let me know; I am happy to cater to your timeline for a small rush fee. Please allow 1 week per 50 envelopes for custom calligraphy addressing.

WHAT IS THE DESIGN PLAN SESSION?

Because I am designing entirely from scratch, I need a place to begin! The design plan session is a way for me to get to know you, your love story, and vision for your wedding day design. It includes up to an hour long video or phone call, complete with dreaming your wedding day vision from the ground up.

HOW MANY PROOFS DO YOU SEND?

We will work very closely during our planning session to ensure we have a direction nailed down before I begin designing. I allow up to two rounds of revisions after the first set of proofs. Any additional revisions are charged at a rate of $75/hour. All proofs are sent electronically.

HOW DO I BOOK YOU?

I accept a limited number of weddings per year to ensure you receive the peronsalized service you deserve. I require a deposit and signed contract to officially book your slot. Just let me know which package(s) you're interested in, and we'll go from there!

WHY FILM?

There are many trends in the wedding photography world, but I believe in crafting images that will stand the test of time - and film is the perfect way to do that. Film captures light and color in a vibrant yet soft and elegant way that simply can not be replicated by digital photography. And because I believe that true beauty lies in the details, I am passionate about shooting in film and will do so as often as possible.

WHAT DOES 'FINE ART' MEAN?

Fine art is a way of describing my approach to wedding photography. This means that I am hands-on during our portrait sessions, telling you how to pose and continuously styling in order to compose an artistic frame and make you look your best. My goal on your wedding day is to not only capture the events as they pan out, but capture them in a way that is timelessly and intentionally beautiful. If you are looking for a "fly-on-the-wall" photographer, I am not your girl. I am passionate about making the details of your day shine in ways they can't without my artistic interference. I am, however, very hands-off when necessary (don't worry, I will never be noticable mid-ceremony!)

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

I always carry a Contax 645, 80mm 2.0, 5DMarkiii, 50mm 1.2, 70-200 2.8, and 50mm macro. I also always make sure to have a backup camera on site. Because I believe natural light is the most beautiful, I generally do not set up off-camera flashes; however, I do use an attachable Canon 580ex flash in darker settings.

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL WE RECEIVE?

I believe in quality over quantity, and therefore only deliver images that I know you'll cherish for ages. Most engagement and bridal sessions yield 50-100 images, while weddings vary more widely. You can generally expect about 500-700 final images from your wedding day, depending on number of contracted hours and the pace of your day.

WHAT ARE MY PRINTING RIGHTS?

A print release is included with the purchase of any wedding package. This means that you are able to print as much as you'd like for personal use only. Your only limitations are that you do not manipulate the final images in any way, and do not use them in publications or for profit without my prior consent.

HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY FINAL IMAGES?

Your final images will be delivered to you within 4-6 weeks of your wedding day. They will be delivered in an online gallery that allows you to download, share, and order prints of images. You will also receive a USB in the mail containing all full-resolution images.

HOW DO I BOOK YOU?

I photograph a limited number of weddings per year to ensure you receive the personalized service you deserve. I require a deposit and signed contract to officially book your wedding date. Just let me know which package(s) you're interested in, and we'll go from there!
